I have always been able to purchase in-app using Itunes on my ipad. This weekend I tried and kept getting the Purhcase Failed error, didn't even have an opportunity to enter my itunes password. I checked with Apple and there is nothing wrong with my account. I am able to purchase other things.

Try switching from WiFi to 3G/4G to see if it's an issue with the Internet connection. Also I suggest you check iTunes/Google Play for updates to the game.

MYSTERY SOLVED!!!! I had this issue for 2 weeks and tried everything here with no help. Even updated my devices. Finally realized I had my date set ahead from getting more lives and as soon as I fixed that the problem was gone. Ahhhhhh!!!!!!!!!

Hey I've had the issue where I payed for the gold bars money has been withdrawn from my account too but the candy crush app shows the "payment unsuccessful " message this happened twice already and i just lost the money
