I registered for an account, played candy crush, had a username and picture etc so definitely had an account. I deleted the cc app as wanted a break but when I tried to log into my account either on here or on the app after reinstalling it is not recognising my email address?

If you used Facebook or King account in the game, then the levels are most likely saved . make sure your email addresses and Send an email to Player Support Team here, so they can help you and manually restore the levels.
Please remember to choose 'Game didn't save' as the subtopic and also mention what level you were on so Player Support can restore the game right away.
Yes I tried a password reset but the problem is King wasn’t recognising my email address at all so I had to create a new account but with the same email address, all my levels were played under my old account, I had a username and pic and everything but King is not recognising my original account, as far as I’m concerned now I’ve got two accounts with the same email address but it’s the original one I want back with my levels on!
