I think my error may be related to this one. I experienced an UI crash when I tried to claim my prize from a finished box. All looked to be fine before and after except that I did not receive the prizes. It acknowledged that I completed the first level box which is evident due to the next tier box that appeared once I reloaded. I'm using an android phone for game play.

First, there is no alternative to clearing Microsoft App's cache data🙈However, can you try to find a solution by reinstalling the game app?
(Please note that, Uninstalling the game app will cause you to lose all stored Lives and unsaved levels )
I’m also having the same Error Code! What is King doing to fix this problem? Am I going to lose the completed chocolate box?

Ive cleared cache, uninstalled the app, cleared cache again, then reinstalled the app. I am still getting server not found on the chocolate box. I am on an android phone which ihas the latest sofrware, updated daily.. So what is going wrong with the app? Its been like this a week now for me.
After downloading the Candy Crush new and updated app, I'm still having the chocolate box error!
And when exactly will this latest update (with the fix) be online? I'm still seeing loads of complaints, not just here, but also at the Candy Crush Saga All Help-group.

As you may already know, the issue with chocolate box has been reported to the Candy Crush game team in this discussion Here .
The cause is not fully known and work continues on investigating and finding a resolve by our Game Team. They are asking us to bear with them
