Our tech team has made an update on the King.com website now and hopefully this will get rid of the issue with loading and logging in.
Please try with clearing the cache and cookies and reload the page and see if the games start working again for you.
I cleaned the cache. However, how do I find the cookies? I usually accept cookies, so I must have at one time.

Clear the history and cookies from Safari on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
If your back at level 1 and have a king account, you can connect your account. If not unfortunately there is nothing to do.
That already happened to me. It was so frustrating! So, I tried Firefox and was able to log in to my account. Thank you for your advice.
My account will not sign in or sign out. It just continuously says that a connection cannot be found
OK, it's Nov. 18th and the king.com website will not load, again. Back to just a blank page. What is going on? Does anyone know what the issue is now?
Candy Crush Soda saga took a long time to load the past few days. Sluggish and I was wondering what would happen next. Will try getting a hold of candycrushsodasaga-King folks again. I still have the correspondence from Nov. 5th in my mailbox.
