Girl...atleast they admitted something to you š iv been getting bs excuses from them. Read the ss I posted...their reply... lmao I sent them a long ass complaint after that...some guy named Brian replied to me saying can you send us a ss of your win? š¤Æš¤Æ i was like...i never thought to take a ss...never had this kind of issue where i would need to prove myself. Also the pop up comes once right after you finish the round...its not like its saved in our game or inbox or something...then I was like...well ur the boss...its ur game...dont ya'll have records of who won? š¤š¤ so why dont you send me a screanshot of who Won in my round and prove me wrong? Hahaha that was the end of that...he replied he will forward my concerns to a specialist hahaha I was like wtf do you need a specialist for...nways...my first n last experience with all this BS...i'v been playing for 8 years....never bothered to try any events..until i tried their last tournament and actually won a 30 day supply of boosters....just play when I'm bored...so gonna stick to my 5 lives n call it a day š

That's another thread on reddit...same issues...same ol story...some guy gave tips on how to get the event...turn phone off...play old levels...etc...nothing worked...so apparently this is a big problem with candy crush š¤

Iām not sure why some people keep saying, over and over, players who use iPhones have an advantage. I have only ever played on my iPhone and Iāve never received any kind of extra bonus when playing any of these collection eventsāthis Winter Cup or any others. I score the regular x10 bonus for completing new levels and no bonus at all if I go back and complete an old level again; this is the same as every other player.
When somebody surpasses me to a significant degree on the leaderboard for one of these events I presume theyāre putting in a lot more time and money into playing the game than I am and therefore are likely completing levels a lot faster than I am too. It can be frustrating but at the end of the day I have to recognize I was never going to be able to compete with them anyway.

Yea I keep reading that too...no clue if it's accurate...but seems like it would be to unfair to do that...a liability that a billion dollar company does not want to take lmao...either way...my conclusion is...something is glitched in the app...many who qualified never got to play...me being one of them...support wasn't helpful but more deceitful...sigh...moral of the story for me is...I need to stop wasting time ...it seemed like a cool idea...to compete against other players...seemed more challenging n real š but after reading everything here n reddit...I think it was a blessing in disguise <~ for me lol...

Anyone else notice ridiculous results from other players in a short time span?
Can someone can tell me how itās possible to collect million blue candies in this span of time? I wish I took more screenshots as I played throughout the day but in 12 hours theyāre over the group average by 1000%. If they continued to play for the next 48 hours at this rate, thats over 10M blue candies. Iāve been playing for a decade and am at highest level - all the boosters, best blue levels, and time in the world - not happening.
After finishing in first place every round, I wonāt be playing another tourney if KING canāt confirm this is legit playing.

It's all sad. If you are not playing on an iPhone...you didn't stand a chance anyway. & don't worry....the rewards for your efforts to get to the top 10 would probably not equal the time you invested to get there.
I came in first in the other rounds....I thought people were cheating or hacking the game in the final...I contacted King with this belief...(until someone in a Facebook group I'm in informed me of these extra candy when you use certain devices, he was getting an extra 10,000 for each level passed, he screenshot it to me)..when I'm at 50,000 blue candy and WHAM...now someone is on my board with 500,000 blue candy.
Turns out KING gives iPhone users and extra 30,000 blue candy for passing the level and some other mobile users get an extra 10,000 for passing the level.
King said it's to give incentives for people to play!!!!
Fine!!!
Then out iPhone users against iPhone users....not a pc user against them.
