⭕ Why can't I play in landscape mode anymore? Game too small!

Same here but one I pad is the landscape way

Did you have the old map back while landscape was also back? I've noticed that landscape is disabled when you have the new trashy map - it just has no landscape version. If you log into an account with the old map on it, the screen can magically rotate again. But when the map changes (after switching accounts or your restart the game), landscape is no longer possible. They keep feeding us excuses instead of taking feedback into account.

Why do you guys keep doing this? How can it possibly benefit the game? It’s only * people off. If it’s not broken stop trying to fix it. Seriously.

This is so annoying, please stop changing this on people. Just leave it the way it was with the option to play it either way. Thanks

Thank you for answering, I do hope this is changed back really quickly, or I'll have to stop playing, unfortunately. So crazy I get a similar test twice?? And there is no way I can contact King directly to ask to be deleted from the test group?

I’m on level nearly 13k but if they don’t sort out the landscape mode, I give up. Especially after loosing the ability to use more than 20 lives a day😡

Good question Marlou. In theory I guess you can contact Player Support and tell them how much you dislike the forced orientation. No software should be allowed to override the settings of our own devices without our permission.
I imagine though that they would give you some waffle about test groups being random and how they have no control over who gets them. Personally I don't totally believe this especially as you and a lot of other people have received the test more than once.
To be honest if everyone that is part of this unwanted change would email Player Support and leave a one star review on their app store because of this change then perhaps King would listen. It is clear from how they keep repeating this test (since Oct 2021) that they aren't listening to our feedback here.

Why? Why? Why? Quit changing the portrait/landscape mode. Millions of people play on iPads in landscape. It was working great! This new change to portrait actually has my game running slower. No fun

I am guessing it is something their marketing team shows people will spend more money as it makes it more difficult. It seems like candy crush is making all these changes to see more profit. I will not spend another penny on this game while in portrait.
