We're still on the case, working hard to ensure the glitch doesn't catch anyone else off guard. Good news is, we've managed to fix the problem for quite a few players, but it looks like some of you are still experiencing a bit of a hiccup.
Here's a handy tip to try in the meantime:
There is a workaround and that is to replay and pass the level that your avatar keeps going back to. If you see there are no stars, you need to pass the level again. If there are start, you still need to play the level.
Now if this attempt does not help, please get back to us with the following information:
The level you are currently stuck on
The level you are supposed to be on
We will then pass your details to Support so they can manually restore your game.

So strange. Besides my phone not syncing with iPad my avatar is stuck at a level I completed a few days ago and it’s letting me progress through levels but not giving me credit for them and I have to advance myself every time I start another level. I hope developers are working on these crazy issues.
i have deleted apps and logged in and out of Facebook and apple.

Try with the following on both devices:
-Make sure the app is up to date
-Log out from your King or Facebook account in the game
-Force close the game app
-Restart the device
-Open the game and log in back to your Facebook or King account
I have exactly the same problem so it must be a bug... My real level is 10364 but I have a tablet with avatar stuck at 10311 and on that tab I can scroll up to 10364 and play that game ( which normally it would be impossible to play further on than your avatar. I've deleted game, reinstalled, resynched using facebook account but it just won't resynch to 10364..
Has to be a bug...

I am sorry to hear that you had to reinstall the game due to the glitch!! Game not syncing has been a complaint I am seeing more frequently!!
I cannot report about it until New Year, as none of the Kingsters are working over the Holidays!
Can you please try these steps provided in THIS Help Article created by King Community In-charge team! If that doesn't help, you can send a complaint to the Player Support team directly from your game. If you need help to do that, please let me know!

my game is still not advancing and will not sync with my other devices. Any suggestions as this is very frustrating! i have contacted Apple & my internet and it is not a problem on their end. Need some help as I purchased 3 ipads for the grandkiddos for Christmas and don't want any problems. thank you

I am sorry to know that the tips for the Help Article did not work for you! In this case, only King team can help you to resolve the issue! You have 2 choices though...
1) Wait till the Holidays are over and let me report to our Community In-charge;
2) Contact the Player Support team and wait to receive assistance from them (it is a bit of a delayed process)!
