Syncing Issues

My progress from my smartphone will not sync correctly on my Chromebook. I am many levels behind and I do not want to keep playing the same boards over and over. How can I fix this?

On my Chromebook the version is 1.279.2.1 and on my phone it is version 1.278.1.1.
I am logged in through my Facebook.
My Game ID is 1070493475.

Thank you! I just completed what was told and it's still a no go. On my phone I am on the correct level 6377 and on the Chromebook book it's 5196.

sounds annoying. try these steps to fix it:

make sure you're logged into the same account on both devices (like facebook or king account).
check your internet connection on both devices. a stable connection is needed to sync progress.
on your smartphone, log out of your account, then log back in. this can refresh the sync.
do the same on your chromebook: log out and back in.

if this doesn't work, try clearing the cache on both devices and restarting them. if the issue continues, you might need to reach out to candy crush support for more help.
