Still having this problem. First appeared to not connect to the App store on June 6 and still have no connection on June 11.
Thank you for getting back to us and sorry to hear restart did not fix the issue. I will report back to the Studio so they can continue to investigate!
I reinstalled the app on my tablet. It connected to the app store but then lost connectivity while I was playing. At the time it was loading up my events which I lost when I reinstalled so I suspect that this is where the problem is. I hope this helps you isolate the problem. It's getting very frustrating!!

I am done with this game. . . spent too much time and money on this for it not to work. Goodbye and good riddance
Hi. That did not work for me, and money was taken from my checking account.
Still not fixed on June 13. Can't open App store, use gold bars, or get extra boosters with gold bars. Using Kindle fire 10 and have restarted multiple times and cleared the cache twice. Seems to me that they must be losing money with this problem.
