Gray screen preventing game play

Starting 24 hours ago, I am able to load the game, but when I click "play" and the map opens, if it covered by a gray screen. I am unable to click on anything. I play on my laptop on the desktop, not on the app. I have tried restarting my computer, refreshing the game, and I have tried both Firefox and Edge. Nothing makes the gray screen go away. This only happens with Candy Crush Saga, not the Jelly or Soda games. Is anyone else seeing this?

I am sorry to hear about this Grey screen issue in your game! Just today itself, we have received few complaints about this particular issue.

It is not because you are playing on Facebook browser version! This glitch is affecting multiple players and the reason is unknown (as of now)!! The candy team cannot find this glitch as everything works fine on their end! Hence, there is not fix yet!

Unfortunately, there is nothing you can do to resolve the issue! But, please do not reinstall the game as it will not resolve the issue! This grey screen will be cleared on it's own! It varies from 2 days to a week (max)!

Hope the glitch will be cleared soon and you will be able to play!

I am so sorry to hear about the Grey screen issue in your game! Unfortunately, this is a weird glitch that affects all the devices players use and nobody knows why this issue occurs!

From the complaints I have seen till now, the glitches clears on its own! So, please be patient until the glitch clears! As you have noticed that reinstallation does not clear the issue as the glitch is not on your device!!

Just wondering.. are you using an Android tablet or Kindle Fire tablet?

I would suggest you both to send a complaint to King Player Support team, so that, they can record the issue. Please let me know if you need assistance with it.

Same here, just started suddenly this afternoon on both my IPhone and IPad

September 20, 2024. All of a sudden, I have a gray screen and I cannot play candy crush on my tablet. I did uninstall and re-install the game but that did nothing. I hope it resolves, but I wish Candy Crush would fix this. I was right in the middle of winning the episode race!

I got a new phone and signed in with Facebook. Started me back at level 1. No matter what I tried it wouldn't put me back to my proper level which was near 4000. Then trying to sort it from old phone I have now brought old phone back to level 1. Help please
