I agree now that it is not a glitch @Munster . I think all the responses in this thread have established that now. King deliberately choose opponents for each one of us to make our games "challenging", so we all see opponents who are ahead of us on levels passed, or stronger than us. or who have easier levels. King want us to crush more and to spend more doing so. That is the basis of all the events. Of course admin don't do anything about it because all this is the deliberate way in which this game has been designed. It's not broken and it does not need to be fixed: As far as King are concerned your weekly race is just as it should be.

You ask how are you supposed to compete with players on lower levels? You are supposed to compete with them by spending money of course, that is how you are supposed to compete. The other players don't see you in their games. They have different opponents, probably stronger than themselves. And they, too, are supposed to spend money to beat the opponents they in turn see in their weekly races. There are no winners in this except King. There is only one way for players to fight back: Do not spend any money on the game. If you do it sends the message to King that how they run the event is a huge success.

Iโ€™ve been playing this game since it started and have never or will ever spend money, nice to see that Iโ€™m not the only one have issues with what is going on, theyโ€™d change so much and this game is not fun anymore

@christinewupp Thought I'd chime in here. My "opponents" are all under 200, most under 50 and they all started playing 2025.

I haven't played new levels in weeks because everyone was under 2000. Now this. ๐Ÿค” So I played a couple Episodes to see what happens. We'll see if "those" I passed will "play" again.

Seriously, you'd think King would want to make the game more enjoyable again instead of creating more frustration and ridiculouslessness (is that even a word? LOL)! Gotta shake my head and laugh!

Happy New Year and Happy Crushin' y'all! ๐Ÿ˜ธ

Thank you for chipping in @Rhonda_L ! It's such valuable information you contribute there.

I think that although the other players MUST be real currently active players, given that we can see their player cards, I often have found that my method of playing one or two episodes at a time means that I generally do overtake them and run away with the event once I start playing seriously. This is because the other players don't see us run away from them because THEY are not competing against US. There must be a lot of luck involved in the weekly race no matter how King try to manipulate the event. You might well be lucky and all those newbies have already been silly and wasted their gold and boosters and will get stuck on some legendary level soon. Let us know how you get on and good luck!

And the plot thickens @cookiemae That's such precious information! Do you ever click on these competitors to invite them as your friends? Whatever reason could there be for pairing you up with players who effectively just started the game and then apparently stopped? I mean, who plays just one level? Could this be because you are such a generous life giver and they'd like you to look after them and befriend these guys? I'm probably reading too much into it. It's really weird to pick players below level 10 at all for any of us.

Your player cards are all of players who do not themselves have the weekly race in their own games yet, which proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that they don't play against you. We knew that of course but this now proves it. They wouldn't have the episode race yet either. So out of interest, do all their player cards state "last race 5" ?

@christinewupp Yes they all have last race 5. I did send out some invites so I'll see if any come back.

Hi @T0rr1e You are not missing much. Have you never had the weekly race? It seems odd since I thought it was something all players get, but obviously not.

I think there may be a similarity with Jelly Streak to the way the Weekly Race works, yes. What I am not sure is if the players we compete against in the Jelly Streak can see our progress. When I first got that event the others did not play at all for the duration and I won easily and then with time it got harder to win, there was always one player about as good as myself, that's certainly not a coincidence. I am also not quite sure if the Jelly Streak could be an event of us competing with recordings in a similar way as the Episode Race. Whenever I don't see any player cards I suspect they are recordings.

I have revisited my weekly race opponents and found this:

Not one of them has played two entire episodes since the race started. This is not surprising me at all. Contrary to what many of you think new players are not at an advantage per se. This is because they are new! They don't have our experience with the game, they don't know how to play yet, they don't have any friends yet so if they run out of lives they can't play. So please can everyone stop moaning about their opponents being on low levels. Those of us who know how to win episode races and crush two or three episodes at a time will beat these guys easily.

This is the progress in the number of levels passed by my 14 opponents since Monday (today being Thursday):

    0, 28, 23, 18, 0, 15, 0, 18, 11, 0, 1, 4, 24, 8

This is according to their actual level showing on their player cards this Thursday morning compared to Monday morning and not related to the "levels passed in 7 days". I believe these players are real though I doubt they are a random selection. Certainly this shows that being on a level below 200 does not in itself mean that they are likely to beat us. Every one of them has apparently slowed down playing since the race started or stopped altogether.

Hey! Would you like to give us your opinion?
