This is in response to your question "What is a beanstalk?"
I have here a ScreenShot of it and one of the rewards that you get when you pick one of the pink fruits on top. It is not always there but when it is, you get one chance of picking a fun 30 minute Booster. This is a nice and a Generous Free Booster. You can pick some more but you have to use your Gold Bars.
Sometimes you get this (ScreenShot Below) when it initially appears or after you've claimed your reward.
Yeah, Snappy is a little stingy, but it's better than nothing. Last night I leveled up to 90!

No, it's not beanstalk, that one was pretty easy to get a booster or two until they decided to charge 10 bars to play it. As far as I can tell, with the Snappy thing I will get a lollipop hammer after I play 32 levels. Too much work for too little reward, IMHO.
And now there are annoying little pictures of flowers etc popping up all over the screen every time I open CC!
As to the Fish, it does seem that they no longer go for the bombs that are set to go off. OTOH, they seem to be giving out fish more liberally with the Spin wheel, like they used to do.
I am just disgusted with the whole thing. Not playing much these days, and I refuse to spend a penny.

Yes - what is Snappy’s garden? As far as the scrolls are concerned - I’m not interested in a ‘prize’ that wants me to pay money for it - even if it is at a reduced cost.
This IS strange. I just finished feeding Didi and already grew something in Snappy's garden. Weird.
This is new, I finished new levels with full new useless bot and as soon as I finished the bot went back to start, I worked hard for that full bot, what the heck king?

I am fascinated with the wide variety of differences out there between players. I am assuming King does this to ‘test’ the popularity of different ‘incentives’ offered. @suester - just out of curiosity- what is Snappy’s garden. This is the first I have heard of it and I’m curious. I still get rami/Didi(the candy pet), the dynamic duo, the treat calendar, daily wheel, and candy quest. I usually get Dexter (he should show up tomorrow) and I have the new version of Build a bot (I still want the old version back). For three weeks I had the sticker challenge but now it appears to be gone and I had the ribbons for about a month but haven’t seen it for several months now. I don’t have ads but yesterday a new thing showed up - candy Chronicles where you get a scroll for completing a hard level. You need 8. I just need 1 more and I will see what the ‘prize’ is. I just try to go with the flow but find it a bit confusing with these different things appearing and disappearing in the game.
I’m in agreement that everyone’s game events and experiences are different. I only have the booster challenge twice a day where you can earn one color bomb, one lollipop hammer, and a striped/wrapper candy. At least it is something but not my preferred way of garnering boosters. I truly miss building up bots on previous levels. The game used to be really fun and something I could count on to win more difficult levels. Now, I’m lucky to win a level or two a day and have depleted all my booster supply so must rely on the two times a day challenge to get them. The game used to lift my spirits after a long day working but now it is mostly just frustrating. The King logo of “sit back and relax” no longer applies to the game in my estimation. Come on King...bring back winning bots on previous levels please!
As has been proven many times, different people have different events, and different total number of moves on the game. The game does not treat people identically or fairly, so just because you have a very good experience with the game, doesn't mean every other person does.
@mysticalmysty @HomeOfLove The only ‘event’ I have is the stupid Snappy’s Garden which is virtually useless. And proves/emphasizes what @HomeOfLove posted earlier. The competition is also gone when everyone has different versions, incentives, etc

AND, 48 pages of complaints with the majority in agreement the loss of incentives sucks, with a few reporting it makes them think more about each move and work to win each level. Well, I don’t play this game to ‘think’ or ‘work’ - I have a job for that. I play for stress relief and when the changes create stress instead,the fun is gone. King: why provide a forum when you obviously could care less about the advice?

Out of principal, I will not spend a penny on it until they bring back build-a-bot. Yet another day with King not addressing it.
Candy Crush has lost all appeal since King has removed all boosters like build-a-bot, didi, and rami. I don’t think it’s a ‘glitch’ in the system but rather after review by the owners, realized they were making less money off of their customers....as if the millions they make DAILY isn’t enough. I will never spend any more money if not incentivised to do so. Have been playing more games now,ones not created by King.
woke up this morning, build bot reset to beginning(from max) two ufo;s and 30 gold bars gone. beyond irritating. six or seventh time they king/cc have stolen boosters.

The studio appears to doing some testing with timed boosters. First a large group of people lost the ability to get regular boosters from collecting sugar drops and got timed boosters instead. Now it appears that some people are getting timed boosters for the daily calendar and some said they even get some with the daily…
Collecting Sugar Drops has been an integral part of the game and a much loved feature where players had the opportunity to collect them and earn free rewards every day. It now appears the studio plans to take it away. Please vote here if you want the studio to bring back this ability.

Many Candy Crush Saga players would like to see more opportunities to win the UFO and Party boosters. How about adding them to the Daily Treat Calendar?
