You can follow the steps below, if the problem is the same then you need to reinstall the app.
Check app update - Restart device - Open game and try to connect.
You will lose all boosters due to app reinstall but you will get Gold bars and game progress back.

Thanks for highlighting the issue and the connection Issue is still being fixed.
May I know whether you have tried the troubleshooting steps recommended by Mr Sukanta?
If you haven't, pls try. After you log out from the game, pls disconnect your iPad from the internet, restart device, wait for 10 secs and reconnect to internet and sign back in.
Hopefully the extra step mention above is able help fix the issue temporarily.

This error message appears of several reasons and is very complex so we have no general fix for this I'm afraid.
If you still get this message when connecting to your Facebook or King account, please email Player Support so they can check what the issue is in your game specifically and help you with a fix.
To send an email, please tap the Settings in the game and then the '?' to get to the Help Center where you can contact Player Support from.
If that doesn't work, please use the form here to send an email.
