Exactly. I got an offer to help a friend and I passed on the first try. I thought I was really helping them overcome the hurdle. Even though they get a few extra boosters, I don't feel like I'm really helping a friend pass a hard level after all.

Whenever I get stuck I go on YouTube and watch how it's done. I've even gone as far as slowing down the speed of the video.

It finally let me back in, at first it had me wiped out to level 1. Now I'm back to my usual level, but no coins and no events/competitions. I hope this is fixed soon.

Mine finally kicked in yesterday. I got on (app) and all these boosters popped up everywhere. I didn't get all the gold I had before I don't think though
