I had reached the level 540. But yesterday, I decided to connect to Facebook for first time and went back to level 1 Can I get my progression back?

I finished all of the levels for the bubblegum hill. My reign ended at 1219 am and received a message that I had been dethroned. I was asleep then and accessed it this AM. However, I did not receive the gold bars that had accumulated during my reign and the game was over. I am not sure what happened.
