Why is it that I can only receive any stars is when I buy potions? Even when I have cleared a level with a great score, I still don't receive anything. Please help.

I have been on level 300 in Candy Crush Saga for days. When I play on my phone (mobile) I am still level 300. But when I try to play on my laptop it has me starting over at level one. So, I either have to play on my phone or not at all since I will NOT start over. What's up??
I used several lollipops and hands to pass level 335 and watched it go to the next level (as sometimes I have had it do that if the next level doesn't load). The next time I logged in I discovered all my boosters are gone but I am STILL on level 335. Help. :(

When I use gold at the end of the game, to get 5 extra moves, the game keeps on stopping. I'm on the extra bubble land game and it happens each time on level 5. I then end up back at the start and still lose the gold!!
