Bake a Cake- no rewards/ event disappearing

@Yosca, if I understood you correctly, then you have the same problem with this cake (there is a team, a team bakes a cake, but you have no cake). If I misunderstood you, correct me.

@Lola_Pop, you want a screenshot of the popup message.

I will try to do it if it comes back.

The pop-up window only appears for a few seconds. I'm not sure I can take a screenshot in time.

Well the chat messages on it above, was when we had it a day or so ago. Are you saying when the rest of team had it, you didn't?

I'll also add some more info on this wacky cake. I have seen messages from the chat feature while playing Soda, saying to "Claim Rewards", but the team didn't have it, at the time of the message. Think it was mostly after the team had baked it.

On my other post, where I said I didn't get my 2 rewards on the first 2 tiers, I was getting messages from outside the game, from "Push Notification", saying to claim your rewards. I didn't claim at the time of the message, but as you know, I didn't get them, when I did start to play. Then @Pitty_Kitty tagged me, saying if you don't participate in it, you don't get rewards. She also said, on a cake we did, she never got the first 3 tier rewards on it.

Then there is both @Glenn1972 & @Werner_Cichy posts, on it coming & going. A lot of issues here. But an educated guess, would be both "Server" & "Internal Gaming Timing Issues". It is not just the "Bake A Cake", I mean the entire game should be "Recalibrated", not only the game, but the "Servers" also. The "Clocks" are way off. When that happens, these are the things that you get.

Well my take on it.

Sorry @Lola_Pop have no screenshots of those "False" messages, but if they show up again, I'll take a few for you.

@Sharon_Loose I’ve had similar messages in my team (1 or 2 weeks ago saw those messages and the event was already baked ). But I think this is what @Lola_Pop and the Studio wants to know... no event but getting messages about the event.

@Origins7_Dale I agree with you, I also think lots of issues are caused by the servers 🤔.

Guys, the question is not in my device. If one account has a cake and the other doesn't, then the device has nothing to do with it. And the internet connection too.

I've already baked the cake. Spent gold at levels 11 and 13.

The prizes I received are not worth the cost.

I spent gold easily because the account is experimental.

The event promised a lot, but my interest in it dropped very low.

The expectations were high. The result was disappointing.

Honey, we already knew that. We already know that the device or the connection does not matter to have an event.

These events are test features released by the Studio to groups of random players.

What is being investigated is why some of us receive the announcement if we do not have the event. Congratulations on being able to bake the cake in your new account hehehe

The most likely option in my opinion.

Obviously, the "Bake a cake" event is tied to the player's account in the game. Therefore, someone has an event, and someone does not. Everyone knows that.

And the message about the available reward is tied to the team ID.

When a team has made a layer of cake and a reward has become available, the game automatically sends a message to all players on the team that a new reward is available.

It just works like a mailing list. Automatic mailing that is sent when a certain condition occurs in the game. In this case, the condition is baking the cake layer.

The program code is written in such a way that the game simply does not know that I cannot see the cake and sends a message to me just like the rest of the team members.

If the "Player has no cake" event (figuratively speaking) parameter is included in the message sending condition, the messages will disappear.

I don't know if it is difficult to fix it, and if the developers will want to fix it anytime soon. It all depends on their wishes, time and priorities.

(Of course, I could be wrong about the reason. But I think that the problem arises for this reason)
