I've tried in Firefox, Chrome & Microsoft Edge & they all fail. I keep getting the "Something went wrong, please reload" message. This happened last week & although I've tried daily since then, nothing works. All the other games are fine.

Now as for the game not working for her on the same PC which you use to play the game, that is something we can not fix I'm afraid from our side as we can't access Facebook's territory.
That is why we tried recommending playing trough Microsoft Store so she can still play through a PC or mobile device,
However, the game is in the process of being switch over to running on HTML5 (we're still testing) so hopefully, once this is done, your wife will be able to keep playing on PC.
