I purchased the gold ticket for 17$ for the season pass. It was a longer one with tons of very awesome rewards. I was progressing through it and I had about 20 days left to reach the top and now it suddenly ended! Why charge 17$ for something that used to be 3.99$ and end it early?! That's false advertisement.

However, we're delighted to inform you that the issue has been fixed.
The Studio has already started compensating our players for this issue, and the next time you open your game, you will receive a Pop-Up with a reward compensation.ย If you don't see a Pop-up for reward compensation, please restart your game - sometimes it just needs a little nudge to make sure things arrive properly!
As always, we recommend you check regularly that you have the latest version of your game. This can often solve many of the most common technical issues.

Yes, you are right! I have just noticed that with today's updated events the Season Pass has disappeared from my events as well, although there was still some time to go in this. I haven't lost anything myself because I had already claimed my free boosters and not paid anything, but please can someone look into this? @QueenB
@PurpleDestiny88 is quite correct that taking the event away before the advertised time is unfair. The gold path can be purchased well before you have reached the final tier, and the event therefore should run for the advertised period to allow players time to reach the final tier and claim all the rewards. Players should be refunded any money spent.
Thank you for the validation! And now I see that the season pass event is back, with 20 days left just before, but now the price for the gold pass is 27$!!! I am so upset. I was so excited to have all those boosters and now I can't get them. I have been playing for over 10 years, and spent a good chunk of change on this game, and now I feel just taken advantage of. Yeah it's just a game but it sucks.

Same here. 20 days left and it reset this afternoon, now costing more than originally paid!! This is completely unfair. I never would have bought the pass if I knew this would happen, but will ensure Iโll never buy a pass again! I closed the app and restarted my device with no change, pass progress still back to zero.
