Having the same problem with adverts causing the screen to go blank or exiting the game. This means that on levels I was likely to win, I don't and get stuck on that level and loose my win streaks. I trust this will be resolved very soon, and the players affected will get bonuses or similiar because of the inconvenience.

Hi Bennihanna, the issue with adverts freezing, or crashing the game is an ongoing issue and it has been occurring for over a year now.
Yes, they are playing around with the coding. All these stupid new candies, games, challenges just make it harder to just play. It's simple - let us play the game and stop changing the rules all the time. The stupid new chocolate box messed us up for weeks, now it's back, and now the ads don't work. Great for the advertisers who are paying King a bundle to get their products advertised. They should be complaining too.

I have updated the Candy Crush app, restarted my phone and it still crashes after one ad. This is frustrating since I have used boosters, try to watch ads for another turn and in the middle of it the screen freezes and I have to start all over. Can somebody help? Or at least tell me if this is an ongoing problem and I should just be patient. I'm tired of losing boosters.

Obviously the coding has been tweaked. Cannot play SAGA consistently. Waste of time and effort.
Yes, happened to me too (around the same time) - most if all bonuses results in crashing the app. Is this being fixed??

Whenever I attempt to play a video all I get is a black screen with an X in the top left. No rewards, no lives. NO NOTHING! If there is a problem with the videos then don’t make them available and stop wasting my time. SMDH

That I had the Same issue with and still have not figured it out
There's a certain AD that plays (watch video to get extra plays in candy crush) but won't actually load and I can't do anything but close and reload game but then I'm often losing that life...it's very annoying

It happened to me before, all I did was Check app update - Log out game - Restart Device - Open game and Log in. but will pass this feedback to the Game Team.
I don't mind watching ads to get extra lives or bonuses but lately they freeze. Normally, you need to watch three ads to get extra lives. I watch one and then the next one freezes and the screen goes black. I have to start playing all over again. What is the problem and, yes, I have cleared the cached, logged out and in and the rest of it.
