I started playing Candy Crush Saga because my son played. I was & still am going through a rough time & needed something to brighten my day with my daughter, her boyfriend & grandkids living with us. The motto to relax was my go to need. I got hooked as I love a good challenge & they were trashing my house. I had given up on trying to keep up & became a full time player of all 4 Candy Crush games with Saga as my favorite. Now my frustration runs even deeper with all the changes in the game. I love this game and competing with my son but since I have no leader board of my friends and can't see where he & my friends finish I play my "parental controlled" allotment of games & move on. I just don't understand a company that would want to run people off of playing their game. I do enjoy playing but now I'm going out of King games more & more since they're locking us down on how we play. So sad. 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

So so sorry for your loss. I lost my mother also during covid. I had just started playing CC between visits to her rehab. Then with covid and Newly retired, I was looking for relief from too many thoughts running through my brain.
I just started playing after my Mom passed. Candy Crush was one of her favorite games. Honestly I thought it was a waste of time, and I use to pick on her for playing so much. I also unfriended her on Facebook because she was constantly asking for lifes. So now I play because it reminds me of her, and in some weird way I feel close to her.

I started because a lot of my friends played and it was a fun unique game to play among friends. However, with all of your new additions to the game rarely are we playing again our friends anymore and you are discontinuing most of the things that made the game unique and fun and the reasons I started playing to begin with. It’s fast becoming just another online game where your playing against faceless people from around the world. Nothing special about it and even the special items you can win seem to be “rigged” seriously the anonymous Player person has already won 276 games on the very first day of the Weekly Challenge that I’m supposed to playing against my friends??? Whatever!
I started playing to take my mind off the banality of my everyday life and meaningless nature of existence in a universe so big. Life manages to be so stressful and so trivial at the same time. I like to play because my sister had it on her phone and it looked cool.
