Get rid of Timed Sugar Drops/Boosters

The studio appears to doing some testing with timed boosters. First a large group of people lost the ability to get regular boosters from collecting sugar drops and got timed boosters instead. Now it appears that some people are getting timed boosters for the daily calendar and some said they even get some with the daily spin. This poll is specifically aimed at voting to get rid of the timed sugar drops so the game studio can clearly see the votes and opinions of the players.

FYI - the other poll "Keep Sugar Drops" - was created when the game studio took away entirely the ability to collect sugar drops and get boosters from a group of people (who now can collect sugar drops again but in some cases they are now timed).

Please vote and comment and let your opinion be heard.

@Scooterpie heh CC players are a stubborn bunch. I've also informed multiple times the old Flash version still gives regular boosters, as it always has, and has the added advantage of drops are collected much faster. But people seem to prefer the flashier app/mobile version. Maybe they think playing one version means they're required to play that one version only? I go back and forth between both. 😎

@MissPoess The community moderator already confirmed Sugar Stars serve no use in another thread. They're just a visual design change, like how the gold crown was introduced after completing a level on the first try - looks pretty on your map but pointless.

I just got move to timed boosters and I don’t like it. I would like to register my vote to revert it back to the way it was when receiving sugar drops.

PLEASE stop this timed booster experiment! Or kick me out of the testgroup. Timed boosters are no use at all!!
Do something creative with the sugarstars instead - that is - I haven't been able to figure out how they can be of any use so far...

I wait on new levels every week. I am on level 5048. As I have previously stated you can go and play the old flash version at King.com and collect double sugar drops when you complete a sugar drop level and receive regular boosters. The are many different things one can try! It is just a game. A fun one at that!

Obviously @Scooterpie you are not waiting on new levels every week and don't rely on the Sugar Track to build up your bank of boosters to help beat the extremely challenging upper levels of the game. If you are just collecting from the Sugar Track as you play timed boosters can on occasions be handy, however they are useless when you are playing old levels to build a bank.

I don't believe "thinking outside the box" will help me or other higher level players trying to bank boosters !!

Just today a new development on the timed boosters. I received several timed boosters while collecting sugar drops but along with them was a lollipop hammer (regular kind). Next try on collecting sugar drops I received several timed boosters but along with them a helping hand (regular kind). I think perhaps there are some new developments??? Anyway I really enjoy the game and the different challenges!!! Think outside the box!

Finished this week's releases. Because of timed boosters I won't be playing the Sugar Track as is my usual habit. Instead I have an entire week to look for something more interesting to play. After all who wants to play a game that only lasts about 4 hours per week !!

When is a Moderator or @Elsa going to comment on the avalanche of complaints being posted ???

And don't suggest I play another King game. Tried most that are of some interest to me but they have all been ruined by money grabbing changes. Candy Crush, until now, at least was doing this in moderation.

seriously king who ever invented these timed sugar drop booster thought would be fun but it is just frustrating for players! i cant even get the free switch!! and these timed sugar drops dont give any motivation to do older levels!,😏🙄

On my side, Daily Treat Calendar are still not timed booster, but I still have timed sugar drops booster. It's becoming really upsetting and what I don't understand is that it seems all community don't have the same game ! I have open a ticket to Saga three days ago but I'm still waiting for the answer .....

Still missing the old non-timed sugar drops. Having the option of acquiring the sugar drops was like an taking an adventure to hunt for them and seek them out like a game in itself within the game. Hunting for them only to find the timed boosts for the most part is very anticlimactic since you can’t use most of them before they expire making them totally useless hence robbing us of the rewards of the hunt. Why hunt if you don’t catch anything you can use . 🤪

Thank you though for an amazing game and all the hard work and creativity that goes into it. It really is awesome.

The timed boosters are great, unless you are on your last life when you receive them. This really is a bummer because you have collected the sugar drops for naught when you have no lives left...

I wish your theory was right! ....I have had timed sugar drops since the nonsense began and I STILL have timed sugar drops 😕
I play on iPad and I got really excited this morning reading that people said their regular boosters were back but I’ve even updated my apps in the App Store to see if it makes any difference being up to date but alas NO! ......I am still one of the unlucky ones 😞

Just got the timed boosters on sugar drop last night. Same thing today. I play the sugar drop twice a day and have a massed over 2400 boosters so I can ride this out for awhile. Now I will only play new levels on Thursday once the contest starts.

Glad I keep track of this thread - I just checked this morning and I now have my regular sugar drops back. 😊 It sounds like the game developers are trying to spread the love around so now those of us who have had the timed sugar drops are done with our time as testers and a new group of people get to be the new testers. Also sounds like there is a smaller group that have no sugar drops. Anyway - I encourage the new people who now have timed sugar drops to post in these threads and vote. We need to continue to give feedback so hopefully timed sugar drops will completely go away and everyone will have the regular sugar drops back.

Bring Back Sugar Drops
Collecting Sugar Drops has been an integral part of the game and a much loved feature where players had the opportunity to collect them and earn free rewards every day. It now appears the studio plans to take it away. Please vote here if you want the studio to bring back this ability.
