The sound keeps turning on after watching an Ad!

since latest update the sounds and music turn on every time I play. I play on iPhone and not through Facebook. This has only happened since the latest update. I have reset phone, uninstalled and reinstalled but sounds won’t stay turned off. I can turn them off during play but if I watch a video to get boosters they are on again. I want to be able to turn them off permanently. Any help?

We have now been able to reproduce the issue and we can confirm that it is the Ads that is activating the sound after watching it.

This has now been reported and the Studio is looking in to this. In the meantime, just turn the sound off when you get back to the level, I know it's not ideal but it is a workaround 😉

It might be a stupid question, but have you tried to disable sounds and music in the settings on the home page? Like this:

If you have, then I have no idea :P

Hi thank you. Yes I have to disable these every time I play. It's very frustrated as I have to wait until game loads before I'm able to turn them off and that disturbs everyone else around, I just don't understand it as it was always ok before the last update.

Looks like it takes longer time to load for you, too. Same problem here, but it's unessential. The issue is probably with the new update, all you can do is turning the volume down on your device - as you said, it disturbs your environment.

Hi thank you yes  it's very frustrating. The problem with turning the volume down on my phone is that I am liable to forget to turn it it up again and then I would miss calls which would not be a good thing!! If not resolved I'll just have to stop playing.

Btw, aren't media and calling sounds separated on your phone? I mean, if you turn an application or a game's sounds off, you don't have to mute the calls down.

Yes I understand thank you for trying to help. I don't think I have an option to turn the app sounds off. Only a mute button. I will try again to figure it out. Thanks again

I'm in the same boat!!! The buttons just don't work anymore!!?? I shut them off and every game they're back!

Annoying isn’t it? There doesn’t seem to be any explanation or fix. It’s just not possible for me to play with sound on at all so might have to dump game.
