My tablet will not tilt but my cell phone will. Please help I can’t play on my tablet

Just joined, I’m getting this occurring on my iPad and it is NOT on locked screen, I can play other games on either portrait or landscape. So frustrating.
king are really missing out as I used to purchase in app items - no more as I cannot play the game at all!
