Yes this is unacceptable.
We have a team that works to filter out cheaters but it is a mammoth task and never ended as you can imagine.
In any online activity cheaters will always find a way through but we aim to keep this as minimal as possible.
The name you see will not be there full username which makes it even harder.
I am sorry this has had to happen as part of your new team and I hope it doesn't happen again πβ

I had a thought, as you can't get rid of cheaters, what about giving the second and third place players extra prizes? That way the cheating that the first placed player as done is less impactful.
The cheating is regular, I and other players in the facebook group I'm in have posted numerous examples.

Hi @Sanjuro That would be great if it was a manual event but it's not as players are locked in at the time of joining and the system automatically adds the rewards they are not manually added so it would unfortunately be impossible to do this πβ

Could you not send out rewards manually to the individual accounts after the event? This would be on the proviso that you had a screenshot of the cheating.

@ariel2021 oh no π It is frustrating when this happens we all experience it.
It appears that more and more are finding ways to do this our studio is doing the best it can to eliminate cheaters. It is a endless task for themπβ

Hi @PrettyBubbles yes it is frustrating but for those players who don't care, if there is a will there will be a way for them to manipulate the system and reap the rewards while those players who are honest lose the motivation to want to continue in the contests etc. Hopefully, the studio can get it figured out some day and at least cause them to lose all their ill=gotten gain. If I see more of these, I'll continue to screen shot them and hope for the best. Have an amazing day. :)

Here's another one, she doesn't care if anyone can see she's cheating. This is the most blatant case I've seen so far.
