My best adventure so far in life was studying a year abroad at University in Ireland.
I'm dreaming of many adventures. One I'm considering is to travel by myself for 2-3 months, visiting various places in the world and get to know myself better and also learning to meet new people and make friends out of strangers.
I have always been the adventerous type. I travelled a lot and lived in different countries of Africa. I also visited some Asian countries. The experience journey of the 17 days Annapurna trail will remain my most special adventure
Back in november 1996 I was part of a group of friends who left for Nepal. Our big adventure was named The Thorung Lร Pass, at 5416 meters (17,769 ft) altitude, part of the Annapurna mountain chain in the Himalaya. A journey that would last 17 days of trekking, sleeping in small tents and guided by a group of Sherpa's. At times the conditions were harsh, every bone in body was hurting, risk of altitude sickness, but it was all more than worth. No words can express the breath taking moments, emotions, feelings one experiences... like a rollercoaster
When you stand on top of the Thorung La and witness the sunrising...was like all surrounding snowed mountains were being covered with gold...I was in aaww and felt so small and humble... Soul touching experience
This was the evening before we left Kathmandu. A group of women gathered together for dinner.
And off we go...

I would have to say Bungee Jumping. Mind you, that was years ago when I was younger and healthy. I didnโt know then that I had 2 rare illnesses that would change my life drastically.
Itโs 200 feet down over a lagoon, it was awesome and terrifying at the same time ๐ ๐ฐ
