why does my music, stop playing when I start playing candy crush? And yes it is a different app Spotify to be precise

nope..it used to support it.Just recently it started behaving this way.But it plays the sings when I disconnect the game from the internet.That’s not right

Sorry to hear you're having trouble with Picture in Picture mode. Sometimes an update can change the settings on your device so here are a few steps you can try to get it working again:

Hi, I have been having trouble playing music in the background or watching videos in a PIP mode while playing candy crush. It used to be fine a few days ago. I am using iphone 11 pro max (iOS 17.5.1). App is also updated to the most recent version. any suggestions?

Ddepending on the make and model of your phone, it probably does not support two apps on the net at the same time.

I have always listened to Spotify or watched Netflix while I play Candy Crush, but the in the last three days, when I launch the game on my phone, either Netflix and Spotify both stop playing(not both at the same time, one or the other). What happened to make Spotify stop playing when I launch Candy Crush or Netflix, and how can I fix it?

I have the same problem starting 14 June. iPhone 13 Pro Max IOS 17.5.1. When I have music or a podcast playing and start an actual game (into the level), the music or podcast stops. All sound is turned off.
If I watch and add and mute it, I can hear the podcast, but when the game starts again, turned off. If I go back the the podcast, hit play, and back to the game, turns off again.
Net, not playing the game or spending $$ playing until it is fixed. no other game has this issue, just candy crush, must be after the last game update.

I’ve had the same problem. Suddenly on 6/14 my PiP stopped. Every time I try to play CC while watching/listening to another CC stops the app. I have turned my phone off so many times, everything is up to date etc. I don’t just silently play CC, I need my music while I play to relax before I go to be. I haven’t played CC for more than 1 minute in the last 3 days because it turns my other app off. I usually pass about 50-60 levels on the weekend along with all those ad rev videos I watch to get boosters and lines, this weekend I might have played 1 level up.
I’m having the same issue. Never used to be this way I always listen to audible and play. I guess I won’t be playing candy crush anymore :(

This problem was first reported June 14. It is now June 17. What’s taking you so long? Many people have either stopped playing or play much less often. Hint: Instead of reverting to 0%, the sound settings go to 1% when the sound is turned off.
Please tell me when the game will be updated? Can this problem be solved?

To answer you question, yes!! This problem will be solved. The Candy Team are working hard and trying to bring in a fix… it is just a matter of time!

Sadly, this was actually first reported 5/31 so they’ve had 19 days and more and more people are having problems. They can create new levels every week but they can’t figure out how allow PiP again? Hmm. Seems like it’s more like they’re not going to fix it.
any more feed back on when the problem of music will be sorted it’s very annoying
I have all of the audio on Candy Crush turned off, but every time I switch to the app it pauses my podcast app. This only happens on game levels and not on the map screen and just started happening this week. I have an iPhone 13 with software version 15.6.1

We have received multiple complaints about this issue! It was reported to the Game Studio and they are working on a fix. Hopefully, we will receive an update soon.

I'm sorry for the time it's has taken us to resolve this issue and we appreciate your patience while we continue to look into this.
There is a potential workaround that you can try that will allow you to use other apps in the background.
If you're planning on listening to Spotify while playing and the music stops as soon as open the game app, try this:
Go to Settings from the game board and select Audio:
Now, try moving the music volume slider up and then back down to zero (effectively muting it), and then go back to Spotify and select Play and then back to the game and see if the issue persists.
Hope this makes sense 😁 I just tried it and it worked for me but, you do have to repeat this process when you close the game app and open it again.

When I have my music in the background and the candy crush game starts, my music cuts out. What is the reason for this and how can I fix it?

Seriously! When will this be fixed? What are you doing to figure it out? It’s worked fine for years. What did you change? Whatever it was, put it back the way it was.
As soon as I got to this level it gave me an error message 'unable to win level' and kicked me out. I tried again a few times and same message. How do I get past this level? It says level needs yellow candies and no yellow candies show up so I can't even play it.
Ads that start with scrolling green line across bottom and green OPEN rectangle "crash" most of the time. Only the green line ones have problem. Problem: ad plays, x appears top right corner. Click x , supposed to exit or go to next page of ad. Usually goes to ad's web page. When you try to return to candy crush , it stuck…
