Hi Peter, the Road Trip Collection is fun, not a contest with other players, just simply to collect 1150 striped candies in 2 days, no x multiplier for new levels (top-level player friendly), with one UFO in the rewards bundle.
Compared with the Barbie Leaderboard, this is a pleasant stroll in the garden. Completed mine.

Just checked my records for Part 2 Road Trip Collection, King seems to be more generous this round.
For striped candies collection in Part 2: 1200 to get 1 wrapped/striped combo, 3 color bombs, 1 coconut wheel + 3 fish.
This time 1150 only, to get 1 wrapped/striped combo, 4 color bombs, 1 hammer, 1 free switch + 1 UFO.

Update on Road Trip Collection
Is this King's joke to appear to be fair play?
Cheryl is busy with work, but I don't want her to lose out on the goody UFO, so I offered her help, to play on her account. I played on an "old" level for the choc box, and this is what players with unlimited new levels are getting, they will be penalized for playing old levels in the current event. We who don't have any new levels only need to collect 1150 striped candies, they will have to collect 11500, with a x10 multiplier for new levels.
