I just finished a race in first place. I should have received 45 gold bars. At the same time I competed a box and was supposed to receive 20? Minutes of special tool. My device said there was a connection error and to restart the game. I did that but never got my gold bars or tool time.

I am sorry to hear that you did not receive the Gold Bars from Episode Race and another reward!
From which event or feature were you supposed to receive 20 minutes of unlimited booster? There are some events that are experiencing a glitch! So, if you can clarify that for me, I can assist you more.
With regards to the missing Gold bars, you will have to contact King Player Support team and request for your missing rewards. Please follow below steps...
1) If you are playing on computer Facebook browser, please use this link to send you complaint by filling the form --> https://soporto.king.com/contact
2) If you are on a mobile device or the App version on Windows10/11, follow these steps --> click on the Pink Cogwheel on game map screen -- click on ? icon -- scroll down to Events -- Select "Episode Race" -- scroll down all the way and click on "Contact Us" -- fill up the form and submit your complaint.
