We're still on the case, working hard to ensure the glitch doesn't catch anyone else off guard. Good news is, we've managed to fix the problem for quite a few players, but it looks like some of you are still experiencing a bit of a hiccup.
Here's a handy tip to try in the meantime:
There is a workaround and that is to replay and pass the level that your avatar keeps going back to. If you see there are no stars, you need to pass the level again. If there are start, you still need to play the level.
Now if this attempt does not help, please get back to us with the following information:
Your Game ID
The level you are currently stuck on
The level you are supposed to be on
We will then pass your details to Support so they can manually restore your game.

Patiently awaiting an update so that my phone and iPad are synced and they advance correctly through the levels instead of not taking me to the next level and not counting completed levels for the weekly challenges.

We have few more players with this "syncing" issue! Not sure what is causing it, but our regular troubleshooting tips are not working! Can you try and see it the tips from THIS Help Article work for you?

Thanks for the response but I'm actually playing on a desktop Mac via Facebook. I can play the game but it does not sync with my iphone. I cannot log in to King.com on either device with Safari or Chrome or the App on iphone. I'm on level 11454 on Mac and 11443 on iphone. Plus I was leading the Weekly Contest on iphone but it says I have a "connection issue".

We are using 4 Android tablets ( Galaxy A10's ) and 2 windows 10 PCs.
Android version is 8.1.1
Current Saga game number is 10379 but may move on as we play all the time. This is just on one tablet. Tghe Avatar is correct- a picture of me and my wife.
The tablets and Pcs are stuck on 10311 but we can scroll up to game 10379 and play. Even if we win that game, the 'correct working' tablet will NOT update to the next level ( eg 10380) . If I close down the 'bad tablet' that has just completed 10379 and start the game again, it reverts to level 10311 so it seems it is locked in some way to 10311.
Unable to provide screenshots. Completed level 9816 on PC, logged out. Other devices, tablet and IPhone shows no progress and on level 9812,
I had the same problem, how to fix, I have three devices
I play on 3 devices, on PC, tablet and Iphone, I have won level 9813 and 9814 but after leaving game and going back, it shows level 9812. Sorry, can't provide screenshots.

Are you playing Candy Crush Saga? If so, are you playing on more than one device?
Is your level progress different on both those devices? Can you provide screenshots of both the devices?
What do you mean by "not showing progress"?

Sure! I will give you steps to report from your iPad⬇️
You will be receiving an automated email within few minutes. It is just an acknowledgement that they have received your complaint. You can ignore that, but do not delete it.
Please wait for (up to) 72 hours to hear back from a real agent. If nobody contacts you by then, send a reply through that initial automated email you have received. You should see "reply above this line" text written at the top of the email. Somebody should contact you soon after that. If you didn't by any chance (because of the Holidays or being busy due to multiple complaints, etc.,), wait for another day and send another reply.
Like I said in my initial reply, contacting Player Support team is a time consuming process. But, you will have to be patient and persistent. Most of all, do not give up & do not reinstall your game unless instructed by the King team itself.
Hope somebody will contact you soon and you will receive help with your game🤞

Can you please clarify something for me... you said you are playing 2 different levels! Means, are you playing the game on both devices separately?
You are logged in with same account on both your devices, right? I would suggest you to play only on the device where you are in the advanced level, and not to play on the device where you are at lower level. Once the issue is resolved, you can sync the game on both devices!

I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing "sync" issues in your game!! I have seen few more complaints today about this issue! I wonder if something is going on with the game!!

Unfortunately, I cannot report to our Community In-charge, as all the King game teams are away for the Holidays!! You will have to wait till New year for the issue to be looked at.

Over the last week a problem has arisen where my IPad and IPhone are no longer synched and the avatar on the IPad is currently sitting on level 11181 and I am currently playing level 11216. The IPhone avatar is on level 11193 and has not progressed further. This problem occurred last week where the synching problem was noticed yet the following day both the IPad and IPhone were both in synch and on the correct levels. Next day the problem arose as detailed and has remained for several days. Please are you able to assist.
Yep, having same issue. I redo levels, and it will move me, but doesn’t save the progress. And my devices are not syncing so plying 2 different levels.
i complete a level, but if I get out of it and not play immediately, I can’t go to the next level. Ugh

I am sorry to know that the tips for the Help Article did not work for you! In this case, only King team can help you to resolve the issue! You have 2 choices though...
1) Wait till the Holidays are over and let me report to our Community In-charge;
2) Contact the Player Support team and wait to receive assistance from them (it is a bit of a delayed process)!

thank you for the suggestions but i have already checked and do each day to make sure connected. here is an example, went to bed last night at level 8669 and woke up back to 8647. same on ipad and computer, so frustrating!! Merry Christmas

Thank you for reporting . Try with the following on both devices:
-Make sure the app is up to date
-Log out from your King or Facebook account in the game
-Force close the game app
-Restart the device
-Open the game and log in back to your Facebook or King account
Thank you but I’ve done all those steps multiple times. I even sacrificed lots of boosters as I tried deleting the app from my phone and reinstall in the hopes of syncing phone and iPad. They do not sync. And I force myself to the next level when it doesn’t advance my avatar. Hope it’s a glitch that can be fixed, I’m on level 11,704 and have never once had this issue.
Every time I log in it takes me to level 9721 and I am actually on 9791 but won’t sync and showing zero games won this week. I have reinstalled the app and still same issue
I'm just another player, but some of the usual advice in this situation is to replay level 9721. Sometimes that will fix it.

Are you playing on a single device or multiple devices? We have received some more complaints about this issue. I have reported about it, but we have to wait to hear back till mid next week, as all the Kingsters are gone for the Holidays!

New Year miracle. After over a week of restarting and replaying levels I opened both iPad and phone games and 5hey are synced and it seems to be counting towards weekly challenge. Thank you!

Very glad to know that the "sync" issue was resolved in your game!
Do you remember what might have caused that? We have couple more players with the same issue! And, I have requested them to wait till New Year's, as the Kingsters are not here to check our complaint!

I am sorry I have no idea, it wasn't after an iPhone or candy crush update. I restarted the game and the devices at least 25 times each in the over the week it was all wonky. When I was playing on the unsynced phone I was just replaying levels but I was basically doing it to get rewards replenished after losing on the delete of game. I knew they would go but after days of trying to resolve I was desperate. So happy it resolved resolved without a candy crush update and I can compete in weekly challenge.
I hope that when you fix this bug that I get all my games back and also I don’t loose my daily spin level. I’m not playing this game until the glitch is fixed.
Currently I am at level 10134, but candy crush keeps bringing me to level 10011.
From level 10012 to level 10056, it is showing as incomplete, but levels 10057 to 10133 are fully and rightfully completed.

Level 10054 is impossible to pass because the 4th required Dragon does not drop, I have used many booster and bombs and still have not cracked this level because the fourth and last required doesn't appear.
