Very strange, my Google Play Store tells me that my version is the latest from yesterday, so from 13.08.2021. Maybe your version is faulty.
I'm afraid I can't help you on the weekend. There is no community manager present on weekends. Only CM ฬs have connection to the studio.ย
I think that the problem is not in the game or in the software of your gadget.
The problem is in the gadget.
You talked about the situation that arises when the manufacturer of a gadget stops providing technical support to this gadget.
Your gadget is out of date. This does not depend on the date when you purchased your gadget.
It depends on the gadget model. It is outdated.
The manufacturer removed it from the list of supported devices. Your device does not receive software updates, although the software itself is still successfully used and supported on other (newer) gadgets.
There is nothing you can do about it. This problem is forever.
I may be wrong in my assessment of the situation. But if you indicate here the full name of the model of your gadget, then competent people can either confirm my version or deny it.
(I had the same situation with my old tablet. So I am sharing this information here. Maybe this is the cause of your problem too.)
I mean i don't know if that is what was going on in that situation. It has since stopped, and I can play just fine. But I do know what you are talking about. I have a LG phone. LG has stopped making phones, tablets, and other devices like smart watches. And thus have stopped making updates for those devices.

Did you have active boosters at the beginning of your game play? If so, sometimes are boosters can work against us making it unable to make a move, and unfortunately if that's the case you need to wait for the timed boosters to expire.
