Do you have the "hint' button turned on. Most of the time it will show you all the moves to complete the games. It is a great feature. Good luck

Players (that know what they're doing) can make better matches than what the game (AI) suggests, but there are some levels that you might need those hints; like if the board were filled with crystal candies, such as this one:
If you think that's bad, you should've tried it upon first release (late March of '19)...
