Same problem here. The game forces me to take my boosters at the opening. Quitting the game, turning off the mobile does not work either. What can I do?
Hello Whiskey. if you want a refund you will have to contact Player Support, or whichever app store you use. This fan site does not deal with refunds.
Hello Tom, the Season Pass price increase has caused quite a few posts. If you are in the same boat as everyone else then you are being offered a 'bigger and better' Season Pass whether you want one or not. It seems that if you pay for a ten tier Season Pass King then think it is okay to offer you a Season Pass that has more tiers (40 or more) for more money.

This has been passed on to the studio and yes, they can confirm that prices has been changed but you should not have had to lose the pass after purchasing it so this is being investigated!
As for refund for the purchase already made, you can either request the refund from the App Store and Apple/Google will help with that or, you can reach out to our Player Support team through the Game App and request for a compensation.
On mobile and the Windows app, head over to the Settings in the game and Help Center (the question mark below). Choose a topic and any of the FAQ:s. You'll then find the 'Contact us' in the bottom of the article:

It seems you've experienced a bug where Season Pass has restarted ahead of time in accordance with its usual timing. Last time they launched 3 different versions of the event - 10, 20 and 40 days, each with a different duration, so it's not surprising there were issues with its duration, which in return affected gold pass purchases as well.
As I told you on Reddit, PD, you should've unlocked all tiers and claimed the permanent boosters first as opposed to getting them over a prolonged period of time in order to avoid such a situation. Regardless of how many tiers you've unlocked, they didn't deliver on their promise to have the event available for a couple of weeks. If you believe you didn't receive what you paid for, you should request a refund. As the community manager suggests, you should complain to Support too. Don't delay your refund request though.

Same happened to me. It wants me to repurchase at a higher cost, as well. I had over 20 days left. Very unhappy with this app since I spend money on it frequently. I will stop if this issue isn't resolved.

For those of you who purchased the Season Pass and got a new version, during the next couple of hours, you will be moved back to the correct Season Pass that you had originally purchased. This means that you will have your progress, rewards, and Gold Pass back again for that Season Pass.
However, you will lose the progress points that you have accumulated between yesterday and now during the New Season Pass. For that, we will also send out a compensation to make up for lost time.
