Weekly contest is cheating on players now

Before I used to compete with human beings. It says right there, "beat more levels than your friends". 2 weeks ago they introduced a robotic Troll that plays 100 levels per day, waits for you to catch up then plays 100 more. Impossible to beat unless you're unemployed and idle. Basically they are cheating. And worse there's no button to unsubscribe yourself from the contest. Am getting worked up seeing myself at number 2 against this cheating bot. I just want to unsubscribe from this contest !!

Unfortunately Dee, as with just about every King feature, you can't unsubscribe from the Troll. You aren't even given the choice of saying no you don't won't to play the Troll. The only choice you are given is "okay".
Personally I think I made a mistake because for a couple of days I just pressed the back button instead of okay and this let me get on with my game. One day without thinking I pressed the okay button and now I am stuck with the Troll. I find myself wondering what would have happened if I had just kept pressing the back button.
You are right about the friends aspect of the Weekly Contest though and I have said elswehere that I cannot understand why in a game that has millions of players King thinks an artificial player is needed, or acceptable.
Given all the the complaints that are generated by how difficult the game is being made by the removal of moves and addition of blockers it really is a slap in the face from King to introduce a player that doesn't have a limit on the number of lives it receives, the number of boosters it can use, or that can't get stuck. It is plainly a two fingered salute from King to all the players that don't pay to play.
Long story short Dee, I am sorry but we are all stuck with the Troll. The best we can hope for is that its appearance is temporary like the first time it showed up.
In fairness I must add that the Troll can be beaten.

It doesn’t make it very fun when you have no chance at all to win the weekly contest against your friends when none of them are your friends! And I never agreed to any of it! I never had an ok button to click to allow others or a troll!
SO DISAPPOINTED!
Who has time to sit and play that many games!!!
