I cannot reset a level for example to have 2 boosters together, it just says that if I quit, I will loose space dash etc, so you have to play that level or loose everything - 1 go. I am on level 3665. This has never happened before, please help

I know that I will lose a life if I quit after making a move. But what has changed is that now I also lose a life if I quit BEFORE making any moves. So I can no longer reset the level to line up my boosters in the way that I used to. And I don't understand why some can still do this and I can't.
Has anyone had this problem resolved?

Guys! If you put your phone in airplane mode it will let you exit out of a level you have lost (exit out completely, not just hitting the x in the corner), when you reload the game you keep your Space Dash or Helmet and boosters!!!

Absolutely no change in my game. Can't exit game without losing a life & any boosters I have. Getting really frustrated with this. Developers need to sort this out.

I haven't been given anything back, it remains the same for me:no chance to reset the quit button before a game & NOT making a move & lose space/morts every time unless you win a level.

I have just done an update.....mine remains the same .... No quit/reset and one go or lose everything !. Still no response from customer care . After all these weeks, I am now really thinking that this is how it is going to be.....but again only for the select few. Has anyone else been given anything back?.

See above - I was given back the ability to quit and restart a level and keep SD or Helmet. Only if I hadn't made a move.
I had an update yesterday - and when I tried backing out of a level with full SD or Helmet, it allowed me to keep them. This is without making a move. So it's back to letting me restart the level to get the boosters where I want them at the beginning.
BUT, if I play the level and don't win, when I exit that level completely (instead of just hitting the x button), it doesn't give me my boosters back when I restart CC. Before, as long as I closed out the whole tab, it would give me my boosters back.

There is a big Windows 10 crash that is going on at the moment and I am sure that this is taking priority over whether you can back out of a level without losing a life. I am going to forward this message to a King Admin but they are very short staffed this week. Hopefully he will be able to respond back to you today.

That's Always been the case, If you quit / exit a level you've started playing, its the same as failing the level and you lose the space dash / helmet.Once you start a level you must beat that level to keep the boosters going.If you cannot beat a level, you can save your space dash progress by clicking the refresh button (gameroom / facebook) or exiting and restarting the game (mobile / windows 10 ).You will still lose a life, but your booster progress will be saved.With the increasing difficulty of new levels, this is the only way to keep your space dash progress, tho technically it is a bug / cheat and may one day get fixed.

Very happy to find these posts. I'm in the same boat and it sucks. The level 236 hack is a great way to get a golden ship or magic hat in the meantime. Only takes a few minutes. Of course if you lose the level you're working on you have to go back to 236 a play several times to get your full booster back, but it's a quick temp fix. Annoying though.
Looking forward to an update and permanent fix with everyone else!
I have the same problem space dash restarts ..but is is there anyway that it can be solved I re install the game but the same problem occurs can any one help me or any customer care here .or should I stop playing I am on the maximum level plz mail me on
Any new developments? I hate to quit playing the game after years of fun but I’ve been on the same level for 2 weeks now and it is impossible without boosters. I too lose a life if I quit so my 5 lives last about 2 minutes without the space dash or the ability to reset. I guess if this is their way of getting us to quit the game they might succeed. I won’t continue playing if this continues because it is impossible to pass these levels!!

Wow then King is really starting to make loads of changes. I sure wish that they'd fix the glitches instead!
Totally agree! Will be impossible now without the boosters! I think it is time to quit this game!! I think a lot of players will think the same!
I totally agree, if you can't start with 2 liquorice in games 3700+ then you may as well pack in the game. Please give us a chance to reset a game like we used to

If it stays this way, I'm gone. I will have stopped at level 3356!

Yes, you now lose the space helmet if you close without actually quitting. This started for me today when I got the latest update. So it's no longer really an option.
I can reset a level by exiting it without losing my space dash challenge. But now I can no longer exit the game in the middle of a level without losing the challenge. This just started for me from today with the new levels (3666+).
Has anyone ever had a direct reply from customer care please?

It's been happening to me for 3 days now as well. I won't pay for boosters, so it looks like I'll be stuck on level 3654 forever. This really stinks!
I won’t be playing anymore with this change. It makes the game too hard and not fun.

Yep, these new levels are absolutely impossible without starting with full helmet or space dash... They're clearly trying to force us to buy boosters, there was no reason for them to change that.
Can i replace the snake levels as i have phobia of them. Such a shmae i have spent so much monney and years on candy crush only for them not to consider phobias. I wonder if they would put spiders. Its like they dont care.
