I’ve been thinking a lot about how magical the old Candy Crush Saga map used to feel. The 2D world, together with those little cutscenes featuring Tiffi and the characters, really brought the game to life. Each new area had its own theme, story, and personality nothing ever felt repetitive or the same. It made progressing through levels feel like a true adventure!
Nowadays, the new 3D map definitely looks more modern and polished, but sometimes it can feel a “bit” (let’s say) repetitive compared to the old one. Of course, I completely understand that the design team worked hard to make the game evolve and it’s amazing how far Candy Crush has come visually but there was something truly cozy and charming about that classic 2D map that many of us miss.
WOULDN’T IT BE JUST MAGNIFICENT if the team could consider bringing back the classic Candy Crush music maybe as an optional toggle in the settings? That way, players could choose between the new soundtrack and the nostalgic old tunes we grew up crushing candies with.
