Hi there @Thanes and welcome to the community!
Many players never get adverts in their games. I myself played 15,000 levels in Candy Crush without adverts, so it is definitely possible to succeed in the game without them. King allocate players into different test groups, but I am pretty sure that players with no ads in their games get other perks in their games which players with adverts don't get. Personally I prefer playing without ads. I get by very well without them.

same thing happened to me. I did the mistake to purchase a 2 euros of something and after that all the ads disappeared but also almost no one of my contacts receive my life requests so that storage is now always empty. I tried to contact support multiple times and they never answer

Thank you for the feedback. The video ad feature as all ads and promotional features is still a test feature in the game, which means that some of you can get Lives, while others can get Boosters or other items from this feature.
This also means that the video ads will not always be available and not found in all player's games or on all devices.
So if you at the moment are missing the ads in your game, just stay tuned and keep an eye in the game to see when the ads are back.

I noticed this old post by you @PummyRaj . I must inform you that when I tested the theory out a few weeks ago I did indeed manage to remove all trace of adverts from two games in two consecutive weeks by making a first purchase. I didn't want adverts in my game and did this deliberately to get rid of them, and it worked! So you might get back to the Candy Community In-charge person and inform them that they are mistaken in their belief that "it is not true".
