If you have hundreds of friends you request lives from but you don't receive any then it can't be your friends at fault. All hundreds of them? That seems too much of a coincidence that you only have mean friends. You can see their player cards: Are they active? If they have stopped playing then delete them, but if all those hundreds are still logging into their games every day you should get some lives. If you don't then there is something wrong with the app. Contact King Support to find out if there is an error in your account:
I do agree that you should not be wasting money on this unfair game. If you are not getting value for money (fun?) from playing then there is no point playing Candy Crush, lives or no lives. I have plenty of lives from my friends, but I hardly play now because the game is so boring.
Still not getting lives. I have hundreds of friends on my list yet nobody will send me lives when requested. This has been going on for months now, I send them lives but they don't send me. I've just requested lives 30 time continuously but still no lives. I'm thinking of deleting my friends and getting new ones as nobody isn't helping me when I help them all the time or just deleting the game or just stop wasting my money on an unfair game.

PLEASE can you tell me why I'm only getting 5 max lives sent to me when I'm sending hundreds and hundreds out daily. I get up in a morning and the max I've had is 5. I keep on requesting constantly but nobody returns the favour. Why encourage us to add friends when they can't even be bothered to send lives but expect me to send them lives. This game must be a fix and if nothing changes I'm deleting all the friends I have which is hundreds and cutting to a max of 10 people as I won't need more than that to get 5 lives max back.
This game use to be so much fun but since it got took over its gone rapidly down hill.

I'm thinking about getting rid of candy crush saga. I'm on level 1208 and I've been there for a week. I get NO boosters except fish. You would think they would let you get some better boosters on these nightmare levels. And why does one person get 30 lives and another gets 20?! Sheeesh!
The video ad feature is still a test feature, which means that some of you can get Lives, while others can get Booster or other items from this feature.
This also means that the video ad feature will not always be available and not found in all player's games or on all devices.
So if you at the moment are missing the video ads in your game, just stay tuned and keep an eye in the game to see when it's back.

How to establish free bars and other
I’ve spent some $$ trying to advance but have sworn off wasting anymore money. I’ve been stuck on one level for over a week. It seems the only rewards given are when you don’t open the game for awhile
